Design team photo album...

Karen asked all the fabulously talented ladies on her design team to create one section of this album using her oval accordion die.

This is my addition to the design team oval accordion album. I used a stamped shed image as my main focal point and coloured it using my pro markers then covered it with embossing liquid to give it extra 3D definition. The red stitching on the oval was hand sewn after running the white card stock and Karen oval stitching die through the die cutting machine.

Pink fluffy unicorn oval accordion card...

My daughter asked me to make this card for her friend Julie after she happened upon a YouTube video called pink fluffy unicorn dancing on rainbows.

It has a repetitive catchy tune which I was able to capture on the talking tags app, for Julie and her family to enjoy again and again. ( I know I'm too kind )

I was lucky enough to be sent the cloud edging die which is one of Karen Burniston for Elizabeth craft designs new dies and is due for release summer 2014. You can see the whole collection on Karens page here.

Happy birthday cat lover card...

I used my silhouette cameo machine to cut out the main box part of this card and Karen Burnistons fancy label dies to finish it off. The cats were from a free stamp set I received with a paper crafters magazine.

Personalised christening card...

Hello, long time no see. I've been so busy the last few months, I've been making cards but neglecting to blog them so this is the first of quite a few I hope to show you today.

I used Elizabeth craft designs flower stand up help for this christening card and Karen Burniston for Elizabeth craft designs flag and flag pole from her lots of pops die set. I created the cross using my silhouette cameo.

Karen Burniston June Challenge...

It's challenge time again and this time Karens brief was to make an Accordion Album that showcases at least one photo. Any length album, any shape album ,any theme album.

While browsing Pinterest I found this great quote that makes so much sense to me now I have girls of my own. I used the all seasons tree die set and attached 4 trees making each one stand for a different season.

I chose to use photos of the women in my family, starting with a very old photo of my great grandma (and grandad) and then her next 4 generational descendants.

Next I found a photo my grandma Eileen on her Ruby wedding anniversary from the 1980's and my mum enjoying the summer last year.

These two final photos are very recent ones of myself and my two daughters.
