Crazy4challenges september leaves challenge

I turned the Lorna label die in its side for this weeks c4c leaves challenge. The cuboid part of the card transformed perfectly into a tree trunk with the addition Karen Burniston's all seasons tree and leave.

Crazy4challenges sketch challenge...

I was inspired to make this card by My daughter and her friend who are mad about Dr who.
This gorjuss girl goes perfectly with the time lords theme. I printed the tardis image from one I had found on google.
I love to make my cards 3D so used an Elizabeth craft designs stand up helper to transform this card in to this.

What do you think of Karen Burniston's new clock from her clocks and gears die set, great isn't it :-)

Karen Burniston spooky September halloween card 2#

Hi all, can you  believe September is here already! This is my second card for Karen Burniston's spooky September challenge. I used the house card die and folded it differently in order for my Darcie stamp boo-tiful cuties to stand underneath the houses and still be seen.

Don't forget to check out all the other crafty ladies spooky creations on their blogs!!

karen burniston spooky september design team challenge...

I feel very chuffed to have inspired Karen A and Karen B in the creation of their Halloween cards:-)
I used black card stock to make Karen Burniston's two different house dies and her all seasons tree look especially spooky with the sparkly moon in the background.

Crazy4challenges back to school card..

I used Karen Burniston's lots of pops die set for this weeks c4c challenge.
I decided I would use my Gorjuss girl stamps for each of septembers challenges. I coloured this new heights gorjuss girl using water based felt tip pens and a refillable water brush.

Crazy4challenges belated birthday card...

Over at crazy4challenges the challenge this week was to create a belated birthday card. I chose to use my Gorjuss girl stamp set and Karen Burniston's Katie label accordion album die set. I stamped the belated letters on the paper chain people and stuck them on using double sided sticky pads to give extra definition to the card. I usually use my promarkers to colour my images but this time I stamped the girl on watercolour paper using staz-on ink and used some water based felt tip pens to colour my girl.

Lace cutting Christmas card...

My mum sent me this piece of double sided cardstock with fancy triangular lacing cut into it that she had painstakingly measured, drawn out and cut by hand and asked me if I knew whether there was a die that would do the job.

I knew instantly some of Elizabeth craft designs stand up helpers dies could be used for this and had a little play this afternoon.

What do you think of the tiddly inks penguins stamps I got free on the front of the quick cards made easy magazine. I think they are sooooo cute.

new baby cot card...

You know those times when you are dreaming of doing your favourite thing and the perfect idea comes into your dream.. This is my perfect idea!!

I made a cot using Karen Burniston's chair die!

I have been looking for the right sized alphabet die for a while and recently asked in a card making group on Facebook. There were many suggestions but my favourite was this abc soup die set by memory box.

The letters measure a maximum of 1 centimetre, I think that's about .4 of an inch.

CAS Christmas cards...

With only 114 sleeps to Christmas its time to seriously make Christmas cards, right? :). A friend of mine pinned a really simple but pretty evergreen tree card on Pinterest and I thought I'd have a go at it. You can see the original card here.

I used the bowler hat from Karen Burniston's props die set for the bucket to sit the tree in and the cute little hearts that came with the pull card and oval accordion dies sets.

happy crafting  :)
