Happy Mothers day...

Happy nearly mothers day to you all and I hope you all get thoroughly spoilt. I made this card using the rectangle pull card and some lovely ECD peel offs.

I love how versatile Karens new Paris edges die is I was able to make a fancybackground for my postage stamps mum to sit.

Ons thuis card....

My parents have lived in their home 30 years and I thought I'd make them a card to celebrate. When we moved there my parents promised us we would not have to move again and that it was 'our home'. So we name it just that but  we decided it would sound so much better in dutch.

I cut 2 holiday house die and attached them to the tabs I cut using the eiffel tower stand up base die.

The new ECD alphabet dies et works perfectly with the bunting from Karen Burnistons lots of pops set.

I decorated the base with daisies and chrysanthemums from Susan Tierney-Cockburn garden patch die and Karen Burnistons grass edges.

Happy 'ons thuis' anniversary mum and dad.

New baby bear card....

I have been playing with Karen Burnistons new adirondack chair pop up die and honey the bear die.
I turned the chair into a rocking chair by adding some fold down rockers using the rubber duckie float die.

I was able to sit honey the bear at an angle using the spinner from Karen Burnistons rectangle pull die set.

This card is the first I've posted on Elizabeth craft designs blog. I chose to use the Rectangle Accordion die with the Sunflower Peel-off stickers for this post.

I recently received some fabulous peel offs from Elizabeth craft designs and these sunflowers were among them. I used my alcohol colouring pens with Els’ double sided adhesive and microfine glitter technique to achieve this ultra-shimmery finish peel offs. You can view the video here.

I used the same microfine glitter technique for the individual sunflowers and stems to decorate my card with.

Karen Burniston february challenge.. the artsy one..

Welcome back to the secord card for this months cutesy/arty challenge. I have to admit I struggled with this one as I was a little unsure what passed as artsy. but my crafty friend Helen over at dining room drawers told me to look at shelly's work and I couldn't go wrong.

So here is my artsy attempt, I again used the new rectangle accordion die and as you can see the same paper as the cutesy card but I sponge inked the edges of the card to give it an aged look.

I used the tags dies from Karens new tags pivot die set and Elizabeth craft designs alphabet die set to add the word love.

I heat embossed the eiffel tower and the paper clip with some bronze embossing powder to give them a rustic look.
