Hi Pantonslake, I also struggle with colour combinations. My arty friend explained the combination needs to have a derivative of the colours in them. I tried to write it down for you but ended up confusing myself! I will ask my friend to tell me again and then let you know as I don't want to give you the wrong or confusing explanation.
The paper pack I used for this card was from a forever friends pad.
