Butterfly window pop n cut card...

Designer challenge time again...wow where did that month go!?! This months designer challenge was for each of us to choose a different pop n cut die from Karen Burniston's collection. This card was inspired from my Christmas greetings window die card. I used Karen Burniston's butterfly window die as well as her flagpole and bunting die which has always been and always will be one of my favourite dies.

As with the Christmas greetings card I arranged the bunting so that there were two different messages depending on whether you wanted to display the card open or closed.

I made this for a friend to give to one of her charges, she asked me to write the sentiment as she didn't want to make a mistake when writing it and ruin the card. This gave me a light bulb moment to create a removable panel to write on. This allowed her to write and rewrite her message on a plan piece of paper and only attach it to the card when she was happy with it. I used one of Karens newer dies from the framelits gift card holder set. I will definitely be doing this more often.

  1. I just think this idea is so creative, the way you use Karen's Flagpole and bunting. And the removable insert for a greeting? Brilliant! Great card.
